How it works

1. At the beginning of your upkeep, Tamiyo's Journal triggers, creating three Food, three Clue, and three Treasure tokens.
2. Activate Time Sieve by tapping it and sacrificing five artifacts, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Repeat each turn.

This elegant engine locks down the game by feeding on your own upkeep. When Tamiyo's Journal triggers, Academy Manufactor transforms the single Clue you would normally receive into a massive windfall of three Clues, three Foods, and three Treasures—a bounty further doubled if a Glasspool Mimic has entered as a copy of Academy Manufactor. With nine new artifacts materializing on your side of the table every single turn, you easily have the five artifacts required to activate Time Sieve and claim an endless series of extra turns.
