How it works

1. At the beginning of your upkeep, Illustrious Wanderglyph triggers, creating a 1/1 Gnome artifact creature token.
2. Deal combat damage using Obeka.
3. Obeka triggers, causing you to get at least four upkeep steps after this phase.
4. Repeat step 1 during each of the additional upkeep steps.
5. Activate Time Sieve by tapping it and sacrificing five Gnomes, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
6. Repeat each turn.

This delightful loop turns the combat phase into a veritable factory of extra turns by chaining Obeka, Splitter of Seconds and her damage-triggered upkeep steps together. As those extra upkeeps pile up, Illustrious Wanderglyph faithfully chugs along, filling your board with 1/1 Gnome artifact creature tokens that quickly scale up under the Wanderglyph's static anthem once you have the city's blessing. Finally, those accumulated Gnomes serve as the ultimate sacrifice fodder to Time Sieve, cashing in your robot army to string together infinite turns and lock the game down entirely.
