How it works
- Cast Machine God's Effigy by paying 4. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding .
- Activate Sarcatog by sacrificing Machine God's Effigy.
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Machine God's Effigy from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop hinges on Machine God's Effigy entering as a copy of Technomancer, whose enters-the-battlefield ability lets it immediately recur itself from the graveyard because its total mana value is 6 or less. While the copy trigger is still waiting on the stack, you can tap that same Machine God's Effigy for blue mana and use Sarcatog to sacrifice it as fuel, sending it right back to the yard just in time for the resolution to bring it back fresh. Repeating this cycle feeds Sarcatog an endless stream of artifact sacrifices while generating infinite mana, self-mill, and all your associated triggers.
