How it works
- Cast Machine God's Effigy by paying 4. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding .
- Activate Arcbound Ravager by sacrificing Machine God's Effigy.
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Machine God's Effigy from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop turns a copy effect into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting the entry trigger of Technomancer. When Machine God's Effigy enters the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer, its own newly acquired mana ability lets it tap for blue mana before Arcbound Ravager sacrifices it to grow larger. The resulting reanimation trigger then pulls Machine God's Effigy right back out of the graveyard as another Technomancer, allowing you to repeat the cycle indefinitely to churn through your deck and pile up boundless resources.
