How it works
- Cast Machine God's Effigy by paying 4. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding .
- Activate Krark-Clan Grunt by sacrificing Machine God's Effigy.
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Machine God's Effigy from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop hinges on turning a clone into a recurring engine, using Machine God's Effigy as a copy of Technomancer that continually brings itself back from the graveyard. Because Technomancer's entrance allows you to reanimate artifact creatures with a total mana value of 6 or less, the cloned Effigy easily satisfies its own resurrection condition. Meanwhile, Krark-Clan Grunt serves as the dedicated sacrifice outlet that sends the Effigy back to the graveyard while also pumping its own power to lethal heights. Tapping the Effigy for blue mana before sacrificing it even lets you profit in the process, generating infinite blue mana alongside your endless artifact sacrifices and death triggers.
