How it works
- Cast Machine God's Effigy by paying 4. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding .
- Activate Ravenous Intruder by sacrificing Machine God's Effigy.
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Machine God's Effigy from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop turns a single copy effect into an endlessly repeating recycling engine by leveraging Technomancer's entrance trigger to constantly pull itself back from the grave. When you cast Machine God's Effigy to enter as a copy of Technomancer, its ETB ability goes on the stack, allowing you to tap it for blue mana before sacrificing it to Ravenous Intruder's activated ability. Because the dying copy returns itself to the battlefield as a fresh Technomancer via its own resolving trigger, you can repeat the process indefinitely. This continuous cycle generates infinite artifact sacrifices, deaths, and blue mana while fueling Ravenous Intruder into an infinitely massive threat.
