How it works
- Cast Machine God's Effigy by paying 4. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding .
- Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Machine God's Effigy.
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Machine God's Effigy from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop relies on turning **Machine God's Effigy** into a clone of **Technomancer** the moment it enters the battlefield, triggering its ability to recur artifact creatures with a total mana value of 6 or less. By tapping the cloned **Machine God's Effigy** for blue mana before its entry trigger resolves, you can immediately sacrifice it to **Phantom Train**'s ability, which turns the Train into a creature while growing it with a +1/+1 counter. Because the original **Machine God's Effigy** trigger resolves after it hits the graveyard, it can pull itself right back onto the battlefield to repeat the process infinitely.
