How it works

1. Activate Ant Queen by paying 1, creating a 1/1 Insect creature token and a Food token.
2. Activate the Insect and Food by tapping them, adding .
3. Repeat

This looping engine begins with Ant Queen acting as your primary mana sink, creating both an Insect token and—thanks to Peregrin Took's replacement effect—an extra Food token every time you activate its ability. Jaheira, Friend of the Forest ties the board together by granting those newly created tokens the ability to tap for green mana, which easily pays for the Queen's activation cost and leaves you swimming in resources. While Garna, the Bloodflame's flash and recursion text aren't strictly necessary for the core mana loop, her presence provides a hasty backup plan or card-retrieval safety net if your board faces disruption.
