How it works

1. Activate Spawning Pit's second ability by paying 1 and removing two charge counters from it, creating two creature tokens
2. Activate the tokens by tapping them, adding .
3. Activate Spawning Pit's first ability twice by sacrificing the tokens, putting two charge counters on Spawning Pit.
4. Repeat.

This loop relies on transforming a humble artifact into a self-sustaining mana and token engine by pairing Spawning Pit with Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, whose static ability turns any tokens you control into mana producers. Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu provides a crucial helper role, allowing you to tap those freshly made tokens immediately thanks to its haste-granting static ability while also chipping in colored mana if needed. Meanwhile, Chatterfang, Squirrel General doubles your token output whenever the Pit fires, flooding the board with extra material to fuel infinite sacrifices and ensure the loop can perpetually feed itself.
