How it works

1. Cast Rograkh either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 0 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. Tangleroot triggers, adding .
3. When Rograkh enters the battlefield, Sage of the Falls triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Words of Wind by paying 1, replacing the next card you draw.
5. Resolve the Sage of the Falls trigger, causing you to return Rograkh from the battlefield to your hand, and causing each opponent to return a permanent they control from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in resource recycling, fueled entirely by the zero-mana cost of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh. Each time you cast your free commander, Tangleroot rebates your investment by generating the green mana needed to activate Words of Wind. That activation replaces the card draw from Sage of the Falls' entry trigger, forcing everyone to bounce a permanent while returning Rograkh straight back to your hand for another go-around. Because Sage of the Falls also triggers off non-Human creatures entering to repeat the whole cycle, you can effortlessly strip your opponents' boards down to nothing while churning through your entire deck.
