How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Visionary Augmenter.
2. When Visionary Augmenter dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Visionary Augmenter enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight—the transformed back side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn—to grant persist to your nontoken creatures, ensuring that Viscera Seer has a reliable fuel source for infinite sacrifices. When Visionary Augmenter is sacrificed to the Seer, its persist ability brings it back with a -1/-1 counter, but its fabricate 2 ability immediately counters this drawback by placing a +1/+1 counter on it upon re-entry. These two opposing counters neutralize each other through state-based actions, leaving Visionary Augmenter clean of counters and ready to be sacrificed all over again.
