How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Visionary Augmenter.
2. When Visionary Augmenter dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Visionary Augmenter enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around the flip card Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, whose back face grants your other nontoken creatures persist to ensure they return from the graveyard with a -1/-1 counter when they die. By sacrificing Visionary Augmenter to Goblin Bombardment, you send it to the graveyard and trigger its persist ability to bring it right back to the battlefield. Because Visionary Augmenter also features fabricate 2, its entrance triggers anew to place a +1/+1 counter on it; state-based actions then cause the +1/+1 and -1/+1 counters to annihilate each other, leaving the creature completely clean and ready to be sacrificed all over again for an endless chain of damage.
