How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Reassembling Skeleton.
2. When Reassembling Skeleton dies, Pitiless Plunderer and Abzan Ascendancy trigger, creating a creature token and a Treasure token.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing the creature token.
5. When the creature token dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
7. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
8. Activate Reassembling Skeleton by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat.

This clever engine transforms a humble skeleton into a relentless fountain of resources by leveraging the seamless synergy between your graveyard and battlefield. Whenever you feed Reassembling Skeleton to Yahenni, Undying Partisan's activation cost, its death immediately sparks Abzan Ascendancy's second ability to replace the lost body with a flying Spirit token. At the same time, Pitiless Plunderer watches the skeleton perish and quietly mints a Treasure token. By sacrificing that newly created Spirit token to Yahenni as well, you generate a second Treasure to help fund the cycle. Those accumulated Treasures easily provide the exact mana needed to bring Reassembling Skeleton right back from the grave, letting you repeat the loop infinitely to grow Yahenni into a massive threat while triggering endless death and sacrifice effects.
