How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Reassembling Skeleton, adding .
2. Activate Reassembling Skeleton by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Chalk Outline triggers, creating a creature token and a Clue token.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature token, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This crafty loop begins by feeding Reassembling Skeleton directly to Phyrexian Altar, generating a black mana and sending the skeleton straight to the graveyard. Because that graveyard departure triggers Chalk Outline, you are rewarded with both a Detective token and a Clue token to help fuel your resources. You can then sacrifice that newly minted Detective token to Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact mana needed to bring Reassembling Skeleton back to the battlefield, repeating the cycle indefinitely.
