How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Reassembling Skeleton, adding .
2. Activate Reassembling Skeleton by paying 1, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. On Wings of Gold triggers, creating a creature token.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns graveyard recursion into a self-sustaining mana and token engine, legal in formats like Commander and Legacy. At the heart of the machinery is Reassembling Skeleton, which continuously cycles between the battlefield and the grave using mana generated by sacrificing it to Phyrexian Altar. The true catalyst for this loop is On Wings of Gold, whose static ability ensures that every time the Skeleton leaves your graveyard, you are rewarded with a 1/1 white Zombie creature token.
