How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Helm of Awakening.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Impassioned Orator triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Impassioned Orator trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Impassioned Orator trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This loop transforms Kor Skyfisher into a self-sustaining engine by completely removing its mana cost through the combined cost reductions of Defiler of Faith and Helm of Awakening. Because the Skyfisher's enters-the-battlefield ability forces you to return a permanent to your hand, you simply pick up the Skyfisher itself to recast it endlessly. Meanwhile, Defiler of Faith capitalizes on each cast by churning out a 1/1 Soldier creature token, which in turn triggers Impassioned Orator to endlessly pad your life total.
