How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Lyla triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
4. Repeat.

This fascinating loop relies on Falco Spara, Pactweaver to let you bypass normal casting restrictions by trading a creature's counter to cast spells directly from the top of your library. Sensei's Divining Top effortlessly feeds this process by drawing a card and placing itself right back on top of your library, while Helm of Awakening steps in to reduce that casting cost down to a cool zero mana. As the Top repeatedly enters and leaves your library, Lyla, Holographic Assistant dutifully triggers off every card drawn to place a fresh +1/+1 counter onto a creature—replacing the counter that Falco Spara, Pactweaver just removed to cast the artifact in the first place.
