How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and Helm of Awakening.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Thunder of Unity triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Thunder of Unity trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Thunder of Unity trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Kor Skyfisher into a self-sustaining engine by stacking cost reductions from both Helm of Awakening and Defiler of Faith, allowing you to cast the Kor repeatedly for zero mana by paying life. Each iteration triggers Defiler of Faith to generate a 1/1 white Soldier creature token, which simultaneously satisfies the entry requirement for Thunder of Unity to drain your opponents out of the game while padding your own life total to sustain the Defiler's life payments. Because Kor Skyfisher's own mandatory entry trigger forces you to bounce a permanent to your hand, it conveniently picks itself back up to restart the entire sequence, netting you an unstoppable storm count and an infinite parade of entering and leaving creatures.
