How it works

1. Activate Gyre Sage by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Gyre Sage.
3. Repeat

This clever loop transforms Gyre Sage into a self-sustaining mana engine by turning her into an artifact creature with Silverskin Armor, allowing Voltaic Construct to repeatedly untap her using a portion of the green mana she produces. As long as Gyre Sage has accumulated at least three +1/+1 counters—fueled by her evolve ability—she generates more than enough mana with each tap to cover the activation cost of the Construct.
