How it works

1. Cast Evil Twin by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter as a copy of Anticausal Vestige.
2. When Evil Twin enters, Cloudstone Curio triggers, returning Anticausal Vestige from the battlefield to your hand.
3. When Anticausal Vestige leaves the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to draw a card and and put Anticausal Vestige from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. When Anticausal Vestige enters, Cloudstone Curio triggers, returning Evil Twin from the battlefield to your hand.
5. When Evil Twin leaves the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to draw a card and put Evil Twin from your hand onto the battlefield as a copy of Anticausal Vestige.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever looping engine relies on trading places using Cloudstone Curio to perpetually bounce your creatures back to your hand as they enter the battlefield. You kick things off by having Evil Twin enter as a copy of Anticausal Vestige, which instantly triggers the Curio to return the original Anticausal Vestige to your hand. From there, each creature's departure from the battlefield triggers its own delayed effect to draw a card and slide the other right back onto the battlefield—fueled by Anticausal Vestige's leave-the-battlefield ability—allowing you to endlessly repeat the cycle between Evil Twin and Anticausal Vestige.
