How it works

1. Activate Grim Poppet by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Evil Twin.
2. Nest of Scarabs triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Evil Twin by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Grim Poppet.
4. Nest of Scarabs triggers, creating a creature token.
5. Repeat.

This crafty loop turns a deadly game of musical chairs into an endless swarm, fueled entirely by shifting counters back and forth. By using Grim Poppet to distribute a -1/-1 counter onto Evil Twin, you trigger Nest of Scarabs to flood the board with a black Insect token. You then reverse the process by utilizing Evil Twin's copied ability to toss a counter right back onto Grim Poppet, netting another token and resetting the loop for infinite entry triggers and an army of bugs.
