How it works

1. Cast Evil Twin by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
2. Put Evil Twin into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. Evil Twin's first ability and second ability trigger, along with Rakdos Joins Up's second ability.
4. Resolve Evil Twin's second trigger and Rakdos Joins Up's trigger, dealing damage to target opponent.
5. Resolve Evil Twin's first trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop relies on Opalescence to turn enchantments into creatures, allowing Evil Twin to enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up. Because you now control two permanents with the same name, the legendary rule immediately sends the copied Evil Twin to the graveyard, triggering its own ability to return itself to the battlefield. Meanwhile, the original Rakdos Joins Up provides the explosive finish, triggering each time the copy dies to deal lethal damage directly to your opponent.
