How it works

1. Activate Inkmoth Nexus' second ability by paying 1, causing it to become a 1/1 Blinkmoth artifact creature in addition to its other types.
2. Cast Exchange of Words by paying 1.
3. When Exchange of Words enters the battlefield, it triggers, exchanging the text boxes of Ley Weaver and Inkmoth Nexus.
4. Activate Inkmoth Nexus by tapping it, untapping itself and any other land you control.
5. Repeat step 4.

This clever loop hinges on Exchange of Words permanently swapping the text boxes of Ley Weaver and Inkmoth Nexus, effectively giving our animated land Ley Weaver's powerful untap ability while stripping away its usual text. Once the text boxes are traded, tapping Inkmoth Nexus lets it target itself along with another land, untapping both to net a profit of mana. Because Inkmoth Nexus retains its ability to become a creature—and its land type ensures it can be targeted by its own newly acquired text box—you can repeat this untapping process endlessly to generate infinite mana of any color your lands can produce.
