How it works

  1. Cast Psionic Pulse by paying 2U mana, targeting another noncreature spell currently on the stack.
  2. Lucky Clover triggers, copying Psionic Pulse, with the copy targeting the original Psionic Pulse.
  3. Resolve the copy of Psionic Pulse, causing you to exile the original Psionic Pulse, and cast it from exile without paying its mana cost, targeting another noncreature spell due to Guile.
  4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop starts by casting Sapphire Dragon // Psionic Pulse to counter an opposing spell, which immediately brings Lucky Clover into play to double the interaction with a copied spell targeting the original. Because Guile replaces conventional countering with an exile-and-play effect, the copy of Psionic Pulse targets its own origin to continuously re-cast it for free without ever leaving the stack. This self-sustaining cycle generates an infinite storm count and endless magecraft triggers, all while letting you lock down your opponents' noncreature magic indefinitely.
