How it works
- Activate The Tenth Doctor by paying 7, removing all time counters from Reality Strobe.
- Reality Strobe triggers, causing you to cast it from exile without paying its mana cost.
- Zaffai triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each creature you control that shares a creature type with the token.
- Resolve Reality Strobe.
- Repeat.
By pumping massive amounts of colorless mana into The Tenth Doctor's time travel ability, you can instantly strip the time counters off an exiled Reality Strobe to cast it for free. That cast triggers Zaffai, Thunder Conductor's magecraft ability to drop a 4/4 Elemental token onto the battlefield, which in turn supercharges Mana Echoes to generate all the colorless mana you need to repeat the loop. Meanwhile, Reality Strobe endlessly bounces your opponents' permanents back to their hands while tucking itself safely back into exile with three new time counters, locking down the board completely.
