How it works
- Activate The Tenth Doctor by paying 7, removing all time counters from Charnel Serenade.
- Charnel Serenade triggers, causing you to cast it from exile without paying its mana cost.
- Lord of the Nazgûl triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each creature you control that shares a creature type with the token.
- Resolve Charnel Serenade.
- Repeat.
This elaborate loop centers around rapidly manipulating time counters using The Tenth Doctor's heavy-mana activation to repeatedly cast Charnel Serenade from exile. Each time Charnel Serenade is cast, Lord of the Nazgûl triggers to pump out a new Wraith token, which in turn causes Mana Echoes to flood your pool with an escalating wave of colorless mana to feed back into The Tenth Doctor's time travel. As you cycle Charnel Serenade over and over, you will endlessly surveil, pull every creature from your graveyard, and eventually empty your entire library straight onto the battlefield.
