How it works
- Complete a dungeon.
- Sefris' second ability triggers twice due to Delney.
- Resolve the first trigger, returning up to one other creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Resolve the second trigger, returning Feywild Caretaker from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
- When Feywild Caretaker enters, it triggers once and Preston triggers twice due to Delney.
- Holding priority, activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Feywild Caretaker.
- Resolve a Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Feywild Caretaker that is a 0/1 Illusion.
- When the Feywild Caretaker token enters, it triggers twice due to Delney.
- Resolve the Feywild Caretaker token triggers, venturing into Undercity twice.
- Resolve the second Preston trigger from step 5, creating a token copy of Feywild Caretaker that is a 0/1 Illusion.
- Repeat steps 8 and 9 one additional time.
- Resolve the Feywild Caretaker trigger from step 5, venturing into Undercity and completing Undercity.
- Repeat from step 2.
This dizzying loop starts once you've completed a dungeon, letting Sefris of the Hidden Ways leverage her triggered ability to bring back powerful threats from your graveyard. Because Delney, Streetwise Lookout grants a stat bonus restriction and doubles the triggered abilities of low-power creatures, Sefris's return-to-battlefield trigger hits the stack twice—pulling back both Feywild Caretaker and another creature to set the engine in motion. When Feywild Caretaker enters the battlefield, its initiative-taking ability is similarly doubled by Delney, and Preston, the Vanisher leaps into action by noticing the non-cast entry to generate a 0/1 Illusion copy. By strategically sacrificing pieces to Carrion Feeder along the way, you can endlessly loop the Caretaker's entry triggers to rapidly tear through the Undercity dungeon, unlocking a cascade of infinite resources, tokens, and mana.
