Preston, the Vanisher + Delney, Streetwise Lookout + Sefris of the Hidden Ways + White Plume Adventurer + Phantom Train
How it works
- Complete a dungeon.
- Sefris' second ability triggers twice due to Delney.
- Resolve the first trigger, returning up to one other creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Resolve the second trigger, returning White Plume Adventurer from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
- When White Plume Adventurer enters, it triggers once and Preston triggers twice due to Delney.
- Holding priority, activate Phantom Train by sacrificing White Plume Adventurer.
- Resolve a Preston trigger, creating a token copy of White Plume Adventurer that is a 0/1 Illusion.
- When the White Plume Adventurer token enters, it triggers twice due to Delney.
- Resolve the White Plume Adventurer token triggers, venturing into Undercity twice.
- Resolve the second Preston trigger from step 5, creating a token copy of White Plume Adventurer that is a 0/1 Illusion.
- Repeat steps 8 and 9 one additional time.
- Resolve the White Plume Adventurer trigger from step 5, venturing into Undercity and completing Undercity.
- Repeat from step 2.
This infinite engine turns a completed dungeon into an unstoppable loop by supercharging Sefris of the Hidden Ways with Delney, Streetwise Lookout, which doubles all of Sefris's dungeon completion triggers to recur creatures like White Plume Adventurer over and over. As White Plume Adventurer enters the battlefield, its initiative trigger and Preston, the Vanisher's copy triggers are also doubled by Delney, allowing you to sacrifice the original adventurer to Phantom Train's activation while Preston generates a flurry of 0/1 Illusion copies. Each of these Illusion copies enters the battlefield to re-trigger the initiative, rapidly venturing through the Undercity dungeon to continuously complete it and feed fresh targets back into Sefris's graveyard recursion loop.
