How it works

1. Cast Appa by paying
2. When Appa enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Wispweaver Angel with the ability to cast it later from exile.
3. Cast Wispweaver Angel from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa's second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token.
5. When Wispweaver Angel enters, it triggers, blinking Appa.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop relies on the cost reduction of Rakdos, Lord of Riots to reduce the {2} cast-from-exile cost of Wispweaver Angel down to zero, provided your opponents have lost at least two life this turn. Once the Angel is cast for free from exile, Appa, Steadfast Guardian rewards you with a 1/1 white Ally creature token via its second ability. Then, Wispweaver Angel's entry trigger blinks Appa, Steadfast Guardian right back out of and into play, setting up a fresh exile-and-cast cycle that generates an endless parade of creature triggers and tokens.
