How it works

1. Activate Nissa's first loyalty ability by putting a loyalty counter on it, causing the land with Tarmogoyf Nest attached to become a creature until end of turn.
2. Activate any number of creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least 1.
3. Activate the land with Tarmogoyf Nest attached by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a Tarmogoyf creature token.
4. When the Tarmogoyf enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat from step 2.

To set this machinery into motion, Nissa, Worldwaker animates the land enchanted by Tarmogoyf Nest, turning it into an active creature so it can participate in the ensuing loops. Once animated, tapping that land (along with any other mana-producing creatures you control) provides the exact green and generic mana needed to activate the Nest's ability and churn out a Tarmogoyf token. Every time a new Tarmogoyf hits the battlefield, the static and triggered abilities of Intruder Alarm instantly force all creatures—including your mana-producers and the Nest itself—to untap. This creates a self-sustaining loop of endless mana, infinite creature enters-the-battlefield triggers, and an unbounded army of growing Lhurgoyfs ready to overwhelm the table.
