How it works

1. Activate Rimewind Taskmage by paying 1 and tapping it, tapping target creature an opponent controls.
2. Hylda of the Icy Crown triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 4/4 Elemental creature token.
3. When the Elemental enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Elemental, adding CC.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns the freezing touch of Rimewind Taskmage into a self-sustaining engine of creation and sacrifice, fueled by Hylda of the Icy Crown's tax and reward system. Whenever the Taskmage taps an opponent's creature, Hylda gives you the option to pay the mana required to spawn a massive 4/4 Elemental token. That very token's arrival triggers Intruder Alarm, immediately untapping your entire board—including the Taskmage itself. From there, Ashnod's Altar steps in to feed you the colorless mana needed to keep the cycle spinning endlessly, converting your newly minted Elementals into raw power.
