How it works
Activate Krark-Clan Ironworks by sacrificing the artifact creature that can be cast using CC, adding CC.
When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature on top of your library.
Activate Wood Sage by tapping it, naming the creature put on top of your library, then revealing the top four cards of your library and putting the creature into your hand.
Cast the creature by paying its mana cost.
When the creature enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
Repeat.
If the artifact creature can be cast using C or less, this combo nets infinite colorless mana.
This ingenious loop turns a modest elf wizard into a self-sustaining mana engine by turning the battlefield, graveyard, and library into a revolving door. You start by using Krark-Clan Ironworks to sacrifice your artifact creature for two colorless mana, which immediately triggers Mortuary to quietly tuck that very same creature safely onto the top of your library. From there, Wood Sage taps to name and scoop that exact card right back into your hand, where you can recast it for two mana—and thanks to Intruder Alarm, every single creature you control untaps in response to that new arrival, including Wood Sage itself. By cycling your artifact creature through this dance, Krark-Clan Ironworks funds the loop while generating endless energy, enterprise, and untaps for your entire board.
