How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal's second ability by tapping it and sacrificing any other creature you control, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
2. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
3. When the Beast enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite +1/+1 counters on Herd Baloth, you may instead use Xavier Sal's first ability to get infinite copies of creature tokens you control.

This loop relies on the brilliant interaction between Xavier Sal, Infested Captain and Herd Baloth, where sacrificing a creature to proliferate drops a +1/+1 counter onto the Baloth to trigger its token generation. That new Beast entering the battlefield immediately wakes up the entire board thanks to Intruder Alarm, untapping Xavier Sal so you can repeat the sacrifice right away. Once your +1/+1 counters grow out of hand, Xavier Sal's other tap ability lets you pivot into creating infinite copies of any creature tokens you control by cashing in counters from your permanents.
