How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, creating a token copy of the Forest Dryad token.
2. When the Forest Dryad enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm and Omnath trigger.
3. Resolve the Omnath trigger, putting a counter on a creature you control.
4. Resolve the Intruder Alarm trigger, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on **Awaken the Woods** to seed the battlefield with initial Forest Dryad tokens, which **Xavier Sal, Infested Captain** then targets by tapping and consuming a counter to populate even more of them. Every time a new Dryad arrives, **Intruder Alarm** immediately triggers to untap all your creatures—including Xavier Sal, allowing the captain to tap right back to work. Meanwhile, **Omnath, Locus of the Roil** watches these repeated land-creature entries, steadily growing larger with +1/+1 counters and eventually drawing you through your entire deck once you hit the land threshold.
