How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal's first ability by removing a counter from a permanent you control, creating a copy of a creature token you control that enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Renata.
2. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
3. Repeat.

This charming loop transforms simple token-making into an endless engine by using Xavier Sal, Infested Captain to populate a fresh copy from your existing token supply. As each new token arrives, Renata, Called to the Hunt graciously ensures it enters with a +1/+1 counter already in place—which Xavier Sal can later pluck off to fuel his next population cycle. Meanwhile, Intruder Alarm watches the battlefield and untaps all your creatures every single time a new one enters, letting you tap Xavier Sal over and over again to keep the loop going indefinitely.
