How it works

  1. Activate Xavier Sal's second ability by tapping it and sacrificing another creature you control, causing you to proliferate.
  2. Venser triggers, creating a 3/3 The Hollow Sentinel legendary artifact creature token.
  3. When The Hollow Sentinel enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  4. Repeat.

This loop turns Xavier Sal, Infested Captain into an engine of endless rebirth by feeding creatures to his sacrifice ability to proliferate. Every time you proliferate, Venser, Corpse Puppet triggers to deploy The Hollow Sentinel, and each new arrival wakes up your entire board via Intruder Alarm's static untap ability. Because Xavier Sal untaps alongside your other creatures, you can endlessly tap him to sacrifice a creature, proliferate, make a new Golem token, and untap to do it all over again.
