How it works

1. Activate Xavier Sal by tapping it and removing a counter from a permanent you control, creating a token copy of the Forest Dryad token.
2. When the Forest Dryad enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm and Ior Ruin Expedition trigger.
3. Resolve the Ior Ruin Expedition trigger, putting a counter on a creature you control.
4. Resolve the Intruder Alarm trigger, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant engine harnesses the constant untap trigger of Intruder Alarm to continuously cycle Xavier Sal, Infested Captain's ability, using a Forest Dryad token created by Jyoti, Moag Ancient to feed the loop. Each iteration populates another Forest Dryad, whose entry feeds back into Intruder Alarm to ready Xavier Sal for the next activation while simultaneously feeding quest counters onto Ior Ruin Expedition. As you endlessly repeat this cycle, you not only generate an overwhelming army of creatures and landfall triggers, but you also fulfill the conditions needed to easily crack Ior Ruin Expedition for infinite card draw.
