How it works

1. Activate Plaguemaw Beast by tapping it and sacrificing another creature, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
2. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
3. When the Beast enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever creature-generation engine: you tap Plaguemaw Beast to sacrifice a creature and proliferate, placing a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth. That counter triggers Herd Baloth to create a 4/4 green Beast token, which in turn triggers Intruder Alarm's static ability to untap all creatures—including Plaguemaw Beast itself—ready to repeat the entire cycle. Because every iteration leaves you with a fresh Beast token to feed back into the sacrifice cost, you can endlessly scale your counters, triggers, and proliferation to your heart's content.
