How it works

2. When the Inkling enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Fain, the Broker into a relentless factory by leveraging the global property shifts of Mycosynth Lattice. Because the Lattice makes all permanents into artifacts, sacrificing the Inkling token to Fain's third ability satisfies its own cost while feeding the board. That newly spawned Inkling entering the battlefield immediately trips Intruder Alarm's static trigger, untapping all creatures—including Fain—so you can tap it again and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
