How it works
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Aphetto Vulture.
- When Aphetto Vulture dies, it triggers, putting itself from your graveyard on top of your library.
- Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing you to mill Aphetto Vulture from your library.
- Activate The Master by tapping it, putting Aphetto Vulture from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
- When Aphetto Vulture enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
- Repeat.
This ingenious loop uses Altar of Dementia to sacrifice Aphetto Vulture, triggering its ability to place itself right back on top of your library so that the Altar's own mill effect puts the Vulture straight into the graveyard. From there, The Master, Transcendent steps in to tap and reanimate the Vulture as a milled creature, triggering Intruder Alarm's static ability to untap all of your creatures—including The Master, Transcendent itself—so the process can begin anew.
