How it works

1. Activate Zul Ashur by tapping it, targeting a Zombie card in your graveyard.
2. Activate any number of creatures you control by tapping them, adding enough mana to cast the Zombie.
3. Cast the Zombie from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
4. When the Zombie enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Zombie, adding one mana of any color.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Zul Ashur, Lich Lord into a relentless necromancer by leveraging Intruder Alarm's static ability to untap your entire board every time a creature arrives. By using Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice the newly reanimated Zombie and generate the necessary mana, you simultaneously feed the Altar and trigger the Alarm, which untaps Zul Ashur so he can tap again to pull the same Zombie right back out of your graveyard. While Zul Ashur's ward and the cost of casting the Zombie require you to carefully manage your life total and mana resources, the resulting engine generates an infinite storm count, endless sacrifice triggers, and unlimited colored mana to seal the game.
