How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing another nontoken creature with power 1 or greater.
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature from your graveyard on top of your library.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing you to mill the creature from your library.
4. Activate The Master by tapping it, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
5. When the creature enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms your graveyard into a revolving door of endless value by orchestrating a recursive creature cycle. You begin by using Altar of Dementia to sacrifice a creature, which triggers Mortuary to conveniently place that same fallen creature right back on top of your library. From there, Altar of Dementia's mill effect sends it straight to the graveyard, perfectly positioned for The Master, Transcendent to tap and reanimate it directly onto the battlefield. Every time that creature arrives, Intruder Alarm triggers to untap all creatures—including The Master, Transcendent—leaving you completely reset to repeat the entire sequence indefinitely.
