How it works
- Activate Zul Ashur by tapping it, targeting a Zombie card in your graveyard.
- Activate any number of creatures you control by tapping them, adding enough mana to cast the Zombie.
- Cast the Zombie from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
- When the Zombie enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
- Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the Zombie, adding .
- Repeat.
This ingenious loop turns your graveyard into an engine by chaining Zul Ashur, Lich Lord's tap ability to repeatedly pull a Zombie back from the dead. Whenever that Zombie enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers to untap all of your creatures—including Zul Ashur itself and any mana-producing creatures you need to recast it. Finally, Thermopod provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to bin the Zombie for red mana and clear the board for the next iteration.
