How it works
- Animate Hourglass of the Lost using Donatello.
- Activate Hourglass of the Lost's first ability by tapping it, adding and putting a time counter on it.
- Kate's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
- When the Soldier enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
- Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop relies on turning your utility artifacts into creatures so they can feed the constant untap engine of Intruder Alarm. By using Donatello, Mutant Mechanic to animate Hourglass of the Lost, you can repeatedly tap the Hourglass to produce white mana and add time counters, which Kate Stewart exploits to flood the board with 1/1 Soldier tokens upon every counter placement. Each time a Soldier enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers to untap all of your creatures—including the newly animated Hourglass of the Lost—allowing you to repeat the entire process indefinitely for infinite white mana and tokens.
