How it works

1. Cast Volcano Hellion by paying 2.
2. When Volcano Hellion enters, it triggers, dealing an arbitarily large amount of damage to you and a creature. The damage that would be dealt to you is dealt to Screaming Nemesis instead due to Pariah's Shield.
3. Screaming Nemesis triggers, dealing an arbitrarily large amount of damage to an applicable target.

This clever combination lets you turn Volcano Hellion's self-inflicted damage into a devastating win condition. By choosing a massive life total as the amount of damage dealt upon entry, Pariah's Shield steps in to redirect that blow away from you and straight onto Screaming Nemesis. Because that damage triggers Screaming Nemesis to retaliate with an equally colossal burst of damage, you can point it directly at an opponent to end the game on the spot.
