Pariah's Shield

How it works

1. Whenever damage would be dealt to you, Pariah's Shield causes that damage to be redirected to the creature it is attached to.
2. Since Caduceus grants an ability to the creature preventing damage being dealt to it, no damage is dealt to you or to that creature.

This ingenious pairing creates a nearly impenetrable defensive lock by combining two iconic equipment pieces onto a single creature. When you equip both Pariah's Shield and Caduceus, Staff of Hermes to the same creature, any incoming damage directed at you is gracefully intercepted and redirected to your defender. Because Caduceus, Staff of Hermes conveniently steps in to prevent all damage dealt to its equipped host as long as you maintain 30 or more life, the redirected damage is completely nullified, rendering you effectively untouchable to combat and non-combat damage alike.
