How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Promised Kannushi, adding CC.
2. When Promised Kannushi dies, its soulshift ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to your hand.
3. Activate Prismite by paying 2, adding .
4. Cast Promised Kannushi by paying .
5. Repeat.

By using Conspiracy to name "Spirit" as the chosen creature type, Promised Kannushi is transformed into a Spirit in addition to its other types while anywhere—including in your hand and graveyard. This allows the dying Kannushi's own soulshift ability to target and retrieve itself from the graveyard back to your hand upon sacrifice. Ashnod's Altar provides the exact two colorless mana needed when sacrificing the Kannushi, which Prismite then filters into the single green mana required to recast it. Through this loop, you achieve an infinite cycle of casting, sacrificing, and recurring the Kannushi to generate endless death, entry, and sacrifice triggers.
