How it works

1. Activate Prototype Portal by paying 0, creating a token copy of Treasure Vault.
2. When the Treasure Vault token enters the battlefield, Battered Golem triggers, untapping itself.
3. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping Battered Golem and the Treasure Vault token, untapping Prototype Portal.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious engine turns Prototype Portal—with a copied Treasure Vault safely exiled within it—into a machine for generating infinite mana and artifacts. By paying zero mana to activate the Portal, you drop a copy of Treasure Vault onto the battlefield, which immediately triggers Battered Golem's ability to untap itself. From there, Clock of Omens steps in to tap the freshly minted Treasure Vault token alongside the Golem, untapping the Prototype Portal so the entire loop can begin anew.
