How it works

1. Activate Nyx Lotus by tapping it, adding at least 6.
2. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping Staff of Domination and Grim Monolith, untapping Nyx Lotus.
3. Activate Grim Monolith's second ability by paying 4, untapping it.
4. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
5. Repeat.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may use it to activate Staff of Domination's other abilities and/or untap any artifact(s) you control.

This elegant engine leverages the compounding interactions between four distinct artifacts to generate boundless resources. Nyx Lotus provides the initial mana foundation based on your devotion, while Clock of Omens acts as the catalyst by tapping down extra artifacts to untap the Lotus. To sustain this loop, Grim Monolith and Staff of Domination cycle their own untap abilities into the mix, ensuring that the mana spent to untap them is vastly outweighed by the massive influx of colored and colorless energy. Once the loop is fully operational, Staff of Domination can turn that infinite mana into an endless stream of card draw, lifegain, and targeted untaps, completely locking down the game in formats like commander, legacy, oathbreaker, and vintage.
