How it works

1. Activate Cradle Clearcutter by tapping it, adding at least six .
2. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping Staff of Domination and Grim Monolith, untapping Cradle Clearcutter.
3. Activate Grim Monolith's second ability by paying 4, untapping it.
4. Activate Staff of Domination's first ability by paying 1, untapping it.
5. Repeat.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may use it to activate Staff of Domination's other abilities and/or untap any artifact(s) you control.

This intricate assembly uses Cradle Clearcutter as a massive green mana source, which is especially potent when cast at its full size to fuel your engine. To sustain the loop, Clock of Omens turns Staff of Domination and Grim Monolith into collateral to untap the Clearcutter, while Grim Monolith's own ability and Staff of Domination's cheap untap cost recycle the mana spent to reset them. Once this loop of tapping and untapping generates infinite green and colorless mana, Staff of Domination transitions from an engine piece into a win condition, letting you draw your entire deck and gain infinite life.
